Friends of Edgewater State Park and partners receive ODNR grant

FOESP and partners have been awarded a $5000 grant from ODNR to help prevent littering along the lakefront. The grant includes funding for anti-litter signage, recycling bins, and a public awareness campaign. The money has to be spent by June 2011 so we will see the results of this grant this summer. Partners include Cleveland Lakefront State Parks, Euclid Beach Adopt-a-Beach Team, Sustainable Water 2019, and the Cuyahoga Soil and Water Conservation District. We will also be working with a grassroots anti-litter group seeking to spread the anti-litter message city-wide.
