Adopt-a-Beach Program

Do you have a small group that would like to make a greater commitment to the
park, on your own schedule? The Adopt-a-Beach program is looking for both
beginner and Tier II volunteers to monitor beach and water conditions at
Edgewater State Park on a regular basis. Volunteers across the Great Lakes
provide important data which is vital to environmental protection. Tier II
volunteers recieve additional training and provide the highest standard
of scientific sampling. Please contact Hyle Lowry at 3.

Park Ambassador Interest Group

      Hi Diane,
We are constantly battling litter in the park. Once a month is not enough, but we find that the easiest way to get people together is at our regular monthly cleanup. The next one is this weekend May 5th 10-12am at the beach pavilion with after-party at the Harp. Are you on facebook? The best way to get a group together outside of our monthly clean-ups might be to post on our facebook site. If you would like supplies (gloves, bags) we can help out with that.
